Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Wrestling Captures 3rd NCAA Regional Title

A packed house for this past weekend’s NCAA D3 Regionals, held at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø’s Providence Campus.

 

Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Wrestling captured their 3rd regional championship in a row this past weekend at the NCAA Division III Regionals, which were hosted at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø’s Providence Campus.

Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø will be sending 9 wrestlers to the NCAA Championships in Roanoke, Virginia, on March 8-9. Not only is Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø sending the most wrestlers to the Championship, but the team set a Northeast Regional record by scoring 187 points.

After the victory, Coach Lonnie Morris : “This group of seniors stayed together — there are 9 of them, and to finish their [college] career like that, in their home gym, is pretty special. But we’re not done — the goal is Roanoke, Virginia, in two weeks, and that’s what it’s all about right now.”
